Our Guarantee:  
We guarantee the healthy, live arrival of all shipped animals IF the buyer is present for delivery and the package does not get delayed during shipping. We go to great lengths to properly pack all shipped animals. We take as much interest as you do in the safe arrival of your new acquisition. In the unlikely event the animal arrives DOA or something is wrong with the animal, it will be replaced or a refund will be given less shipping charges IF the buyer contacts us within 1 hour of delivery. After that time, the care of the purchased animal is truly out of our control. Any animal to be found unsatisfactory in the allowed time stated above must be returned to us for the buyer to be refunded. This includes deceased animals. Please note: We will confirm with the courier the time the animal was delivered and who signed for it. It’s our responsibility to get the animal(s) to you as healthy and stress-free as possible. It’s your responsibility to be there to accept them at the pre-arranged time.

We also guarantee our snakes to be sexed properly. We “pop” (manual inversion of the sexual organs) or probe our snakes to determine their sex depending on the age of the snake. If there's a problem with the sex of your purchase, please contact us within 48 hours.  We'll do whatever it takes to make it right. If you do not notify us within the specified time frame, the guarantee will no longer be honored. (For example, we do not want you calling a year from the date of purchase to try and get a refund/exchange when you try and breed the snake and figure out it was improperly sexed.) We try and accurately sex our animals to the best of our ability, but no one is perfect. Please double check the sex of your new acquisition upon receiving it or take it to someone who is proficient at sexing if you are unable to do it yourself.

We accept money orders, certified bank checks, Paypal, and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, and Discover).

 

Payments and deposits are non-refundable unless we are unable to provide you with the animal. We do not issue refunds because you changed your mind or don’t want to wait for safe shipping, etc.

 

Animals may be held with a 25% non-refundable deposit for 30 days, Full payment is expected at the end of the 30 days unless other arrangements are made at the time of the deposit. If you are unable to fulfill your payment obligation, your deposit will be forfeit and the animal will be placed for sale again.

 

Shipping:

We are a "Reptile Certified" shipper with FedEx. We use new insulated boxes with either 40-hour heat or cold packs, as needed. The box is labeled as a “Live Harmless Reptile – This End Up” according to the procedures laid out by the FedEx. The snake is secured in a snake bag that is then tied or deli cup with paper towel bedding and air holes, the lid is taped shut. Newspaper is used for cushioning.

 

Do not ask us to ship animals via the U.S. Postal System to save you a few dollars. We will ONLY ship by legal means. What we do affects the entire reptile hobby and industry. We do not need to give anyone an excuse to take our right to own reptiles away.

 

Shipping dates and times will be arranged when they are most convenient for the customer, and us as well.  We prefer to get the animals to the customer as soon as possible, but not at the expense of the animals.  Shipping may be delayed due to inclement weather. We will not ship animals if the temperatures anywhere along the route are below 36°F or above 100°F. But rest assured, your animals will be well taken care of until it's time for them to ship. If keeping the welfare of the animal as our #1 priority seems unreasonable to you, we'd prefer not to have you as our customer.  It really is that simple.

 

Trades: 

Occasionally we are looking to diversify our collection or bring in new blood lines.  At this time, we will only consider trades with people in the local Grand Rapids, MI area.
